The Optician was established in 2019 as a mobile eyewear service designed to meet the needs of businesses and organizations in Southern Colorado. Initially starting as a mobile eyeglass repair service, this small business quickly evolved to address the demand for mobile on-site eyewear fittings and dispensing services tailored specifically for commercial clients.

Chad Holt, ABOC, is the owner and founder of The Optician and a distinguished professional with over 20 years of experience in the optical field. As a certified optician, Chad has dedicated over 15,000 hours to mastering the art and science of lens surfacing and finishing, alongside his extensive expertise in prescription eyewear fitting and dispensing services.

With a meticulous approach to precision and a deep commitment to workplace safety, Chad specializes in collaborating with businesses of all sizes. From large corporations to small enterprises, he develops customized safety eyewear programs designed to enhance employee protection and productivity. Chad’s dedication to advancing vision care in professional environments reflects his passion for supporting the hardworking individuals who drive our communities forward.
